Chelsea, father of Sarri says his son wanted to stay at Napoli

Interview by reporters during a cycling event, Amerigo Sarri spoke about his son's adventure at Chelsea, as well as the departure from Napoli.

"Maurizio left his heart in Naples, and I think he would have liked to stay there. Perhaps something happened with President Aurelio De Laurentiis, but he's happy in England now.

"I went to see him in London and for the first time, I saw one of his matches with the Blues. He feels well at Chelsea and he's very popular. He settled in well because he already knew the English language pretty well after working in a bank in London.

"As a child in elementary school, he was a fan of Napoli as he was born there. However, over time, Fiorentina entered his heart. I personally would like to see him at Fiorentina, but I don't know if there have been talks in the past. I almost never speak about football with my son," he concluded.
