Chelsea: Morata real salary revealed

Chelsea signed Alvaro Morata for a fee close to € 80 million last summer, a big money move Antonio Conte wanted to strengthen the Blues’ attacking department that had been weakened by the ‘virtual’ departure of Diego Costa.

Reports in Spain reveal the real salary of the Spaniard who has seven goals in 10 appearances in all competitions so far this season.

According to El Chiringuito, the 24-year-old striker is on a € 9.1 million-a-year deal in South West London. If the report is confirmed Morata’s salary would be higher than the one of Harry Kane but lower than the Lukaku’s and Sergio Aguero.

Morata finally managed to team up with Antonio Conte last summer with the Spaniard who has had a great start to the season.

The Italian tactician wanted to sign him back in 2014 when he was in charge of Juventus but when the Old Lady actually signed Morata, Conte had already resigned.
