Chelsea, Rudiger: "It's not time to talk about a contract renewal..."

The ex-roma defender spoke to Sky Sports (via Calciomercato.com) about his Chelsea future, here is what he had to say on the matter: " Future? It is not the right time to talk about my future with the club. I am fully focused on the pitch as we want to have a good 2019 year ahead...". 

Rudiger pretty much said that this is currently not the right moment to negotiate a renewal as he is truly focusing on ending this year on a high. His present focus like all Chelsea players is towards helping the team push for a Champions League spot. He added that his current contract still has three years left which goes through 2022. According to the latest reports, it is more probable that the German International renews his contract come summer time. More to come on the matter...
