Chelsea to make Juventus offer for Higuain next week: the scenario

05 January at 09:50
Gonzalo Higuain has been reportedly a target for Chelsea in the coming weeks, seeing his unimpressive performances at AC Milan. Sportitalia's market expert Alfredo Pedulla spoke about the situation and brought some updates regarding the future of the Argentinian striker.

"Sarri is desperate because Chelsea does not score, Morata seems unrecoverable from a mental point of view and for Chelsea the priority is to sign a striker in January," he said.

"They made a survey about Cavani but PSG do not want to sell the player. Thus Chelsea will make a bid for Higuain to Juventus next week to try and lure the player to the Stamford Bridge. The goal of the English club is to offer the amount set to be paid in the deal with Milan - 36 million - as it is not guaranteed that the Rossoneri will activate the clause at the end of the season due to financial difficulties," Pedulla added.
