CM EXCLUSIVE: AC Milan keen on Susic

After Hellas Verona and Inter, it’s now AC Milan’s turn to be interested in Hajduk Split 23-year-old Tino-Sven Susic. The latter comes from a family of football players: his father Sead was one of the starts of Red Start Belgrade, while his uncle Safet spent most of his career at Paris Saint-Germain, and has been considered by France Football one of the best foreign players who have ever played in the Ligue 1.

Born in Sarajevo, Susic emigrated to Belgium, where he played for both Genk and Standard Liege, and was also part of the Belgian Under 18 and Under 19 national teams; finally, the youngster moved to Croatia and started to play for the Bosnian national team, coached by his uncle Safet.
One year ago, Tino-Sven Susic was just one step away from Inter Milan, but finally the nerazzurri preferred to sign Dinamo Zagreb’s Marcelo Brozovic.

The following months have been very hard for the player, but AC Milan are convinced to make a good investment by signing him: the Dalmatian club requires about €6 million, but, considering its financial difficult, it could finally accept even a lower amount. A meeting between the rossoneri’s executives and the player’s agent is scheduled for today.
