CM Scouting: Ramadan Sobhy, a new 'Pharaoh' for AC Milan

Egypt senior national team are not living the best moment of their history. After winning three successive Africa cup of nations between 2006 and 2010, they could not even qualify to the last three editions. Mohamedl Abouterka was considered the best Egyptian player during their ‘Golden Age’.

Today Mohammed Salah is probably the most popular Egypt International, though there is another rising star which could land in Europe pretty soon.

Ramadan Sobhy is a 19-year-old offensive midfielder who has been playing for Al-Alhy since when he was a child. He is a right footed left winger who, however, can cover all the attacking roles. He has pace, vision and great technical skills.

Just like most of modern footballers, he has no lack of agility and balance despite his height (183 cm). Sobhy has registered six assists this season and Al-Alhy have just extended his deal until 2020. Atletico Madrid had scouted him during an U-17 tournament, but RB Leipzig, Arsenal and AC Milan are also believed to be interested in signing the player who could leave his current club for an offer in the region of € 5 million.
