Colombia coach admits that promising defender could join Barcelona

It is not a secret that Sampdoria have been following Colombian starlet Yerry Mina for some time now but it seems highly unlikely that they will be getting him since he is close to joining la Liga giants FC Barcelona. Here is what his National team coach José Peckerman had to say on Yerry Mina's future:

"Mina is one of the biggest revelations in the recent world of football. He is a very strong defender but he is also very complete too. He plays with Palmeiras and he is nearly 2 meters tall. From what I am hearing there is a very strong possibility that he will be joining FC Barcelona ...".

Yerry Mina has so far appeared in 18 total games this season for the Brazilian club as he scored 2 goals and added 1 assist. He has been hard to beat as he is one of the most promising South American defenders out there...
