Danny Blind advices the Dutch star, pursued by Juventus, Manchester United and Barcelona

Danny Blind, the former coach of the Netherlands, who has made Matthijs De Ligt debut in the national team, has spoken to Tuttosport about the young talent, pursued by Juventus.

What do you think about the fact that De Ligt is the captain of Ajax at just 19?
“Of course, it's not normal, not even for Ajax. It is an exceptional fact that demonstrates the personality of Matthijs”.

If De Ligt asks you an opinion about transfer in view of the summer, would you recommend to your pupil Juventus, Barcelona or Manchester United?
"I can’t answer this question. My hope is that Matthijs will stay one more year at Ajax. He's strong, but still young: the only thing I can say to De Ligt is to leave Amsterdam only when he feels totally ready for an experience abroad”.
