Distance growing between Juve and Real, Chelsea now in pole position for Madrid defender

10 July at 19:13

In recent weeks Juventus have pushed more than any other team to secure Real Madrid’s Danilo as they search for a replacement for the outgoing Dani Alves at right-back. The Bianconeri have offered 20 million EUR, but the Blancos are steadfast to deny any offer under 30 million. Soon the Old Lady is expected to close the deal for Douglas Costa and therefore, for the space for another non-EU player is an issue. On the radar remain Darmian and Cancelo among other for Juve.

WHERE NEXT? -  As the Bianconeri welcome his fellow Brazilian into the squad, Danilo will be further intensified with other clubs, with Chelsea and the Premier League expected to be leading the chase for the 25 year old defender. As reported by the Daily Star, the Blues have been advancing their efforts in the last few days and seem ready to meet Real from the economic point of view for the Brazilian player
