€42m target rejects Inter, prefers Man United
The Real madrid outsider is looking for a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, and he prefers to join Manchester United.
The Nerazzurri are also interested in veteran defender Pepe, leading them to speak to the Galacticos over both targets, going as far as to offer €42 million for James.
Both the Champions League finalists and the Colombian starlet have said no, however, as the price is considered to be too low by Florentino Perez’s side, who paid as much as €75 million to take the World Cup 2014 star off Monaco’s hands.
With Manchester United being linked to a bigger offer and now qualifying to the Champions League after their victory over Ajax, they’re simply a more appealing suitor.
Yet recent reports from Spain indicate that Jose Mourinho prefers Alvaro Morata, especially if David De Gea really does leave to join Real Madrid.
