AS Roma and Juventus will play tonight in their Champions League match to seal the promotion to the round of 16. Giallorossi will face Real Madrid at home, will Bianconeri will host Valencia.

Both the clubs want a redemption. Roma are playing a very good Champions League, with three wins in a row following the defeat at Santiago Bernabeu against Real Madrid, at those times managed by Lopetegui; but in Serie A their performances are quite poor, and Di Francesco is very criticized. A good match against Real Madrid and the knockout stage reached could heal some wounds.
Juventus, instead, want to win with an important result. The atmosphere among the Bianconeri is not so good, indeed: their problem is opposite to the Roma one. They are dominating in Serie A, with already 8 point more than Napoli, second in the table; but in Champions League they have been defeated at home by Manchester United in their recent clash. They need an important performance tonight to stop the criticisms and reaffirm their candidacy to win the Champions League.
