Anwar El Ghazi’s contract with Ajax runs until June 2019, but the promising Holland International could leave the Amsterdam ArenA before the end of his current deal.

El Ghazi, 21, has been excluded for an undetermined time from Ajax senior squad for his behaviour during the Lancers’ latest training ahead of Excelsionr clash.

El Ghazi impressed for Ajax under Frank De Boer, but has been failing to reproduce the same kind of performances with Peter Bosz in charge of the Dutch squad this season.

The 21-year-old winger was a transfer target of AC Milan last January and the rossoneri could make a new attempt to sign him in the January window. AC Milan failed to make any consistent transfer activity last summer due to the Silvio Berlusconi’s negotiations to sell the club. New investors, however, are expected to close the deal within the 20th of November with the Serie A giants that will have fresh cash at their disposal in January.

Montella is looking for a new winger who can add depth and quality to his squad and fill the boots of either Niang or Suso and El Ghazi would be the perfect answer to the aerpolanino’s needs.
