El Sha, Matri, Mastour: Wich future for AC Milan loanees?

AC Milan are working to strengthen their squad for next season and Adriano Galliani is not only focusing on selling and buying players, but the Rossoneri CEO is also thinking about the future of those players who have been loaned out.

CM.com’s Federico Albrizio has highlighted those who could stay at the club and those who will leave the San Siro permanently.

EL SHAARAWY – The ‘Pharaoh’ is thriving at the Olimpico since he moved there last January. After having scored five goals and registered two assists in eight games, the Giallorossi want to make his move permanent, even if they’d prefer to lower AC Milan’s request of € 13 million.

ALESSANDRO MATRI – As we previously reported, Mitra Matri will be heading back to the San Siro after a disappointing season at Lazio where he has scored seven goals in 30 games. It is still unknown whether AC Milan will decide to keep him in the squad or loan him out for one more season. This decision will probably be taken by Sinisa Mihajlovic’s successor on the Rossoneri bench.

MICHAEL AGAZZI, GABRIEL – The two goalkeepers will also go back to Milan after their loan spells to Middlesbrough and Napoli. They could both stay as Diego Lopez is set to leave he club next season, while Christian Abbiati could retire.

SUSO – Genoa could decide to make his Marassi move permanent at the end of the season.

HACHIM MASTOUR – The 18-year old striker is on loan at Malaga until 2017 but due to his lack of playing time he could come back to his former club at the end of the season.

SIMONE VERDI , GIANMARIO COMI –Their clubs Carpi and Livorno could exercise their options to make the players’ transfers permanent.

GABRIEL PALETTA – Atalanta want to sign him on a permanent basis but Mauro Tassotti has recently revealed the former Parma centre-back could come back to AC Milan as the Rossoneri will play Europa League football next season and are in need of some more defenders to play three competitions.

JHERSON VERGARA – The 22-year-old Colombian defender will travel back form Livorno to Milan, but might be loaned out for the 2016-17 campaign too.

OTHER YOUNGSTERS – Davide Di Molfetta, Matteo Pessina and Giacomo Beretta will come back to the club and will probably be offered to join another side on loan, while Gianmario Zigoni will stay at Spal.
