Ex-Tottenham star and Man Utd legend slam Diego Maradona

England legend and former Tottenham Hotspur striker Gary Lineker has criticized Diego Maradona for his gesture during Argentina's 2-1 victory over Nigeria and claims the former World Cup winners has now become a laughing stock.

Marcus Rojo has been caught in the final few minutes of Argentina's final group stage at the FIFA 2018 World Cup.

"Maradona is in danger of becoming a laughing stock, I'm afraid," said Gary Lineker during post-game analysis, as quoted by the Telegraph.

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has also slammed Diego Maradona and said it is not nice to see what the Naples star did from the stands on Tuesday.
