Exclusive: AC Milan, the latest on Borini’s move to China

The negotiations between AC Milan and Shenzhen, in regards to the future of Fabio Borini, continue to make clear progress. However, despite this, there is still some distance between the clubs.

The Chinese club has already reached an agreement with Borini, offering a three-year contract worth €5m per year. With that said, though, the agreement with AC Milan is still missing, as there are some differences between demand and offer.

As learned by Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri initially asked for around €15m, although they would also settle for €10m. The offer from Shenzhen is much lower: €7.5m. The negotiations continue, and it's clear that Shenzhen will have to come up with €10m to close a deal.

However, it should be noted that the club will have to pay the same amount as the transfer fee to the Chinese state, doubling their costs. From both sides, though, there is a will to close the deal.
