Exclusive: AC Milan to meet Shenzhen for Borini

14 January at 13:50
AC Milan are going to meet the representatives of Shenzhen to discuss Fabio Borini’s possible move to China, Calciomercato.com can exclusively reveal.

The Italian winger is wanted by the Chinese Super League giants but right now there is still a gap between AC Milan’s request and Shenzhen’s offer.

The Rossoneri want € 10 million but the Chinese side has only offered € 7.5 million so far. The Chinese tax office, however, forces any domestic club to double the price-tag of every footballer signed. To put it into other words, Shenzhen would have to pay € 10 million to AC Milan and € 10 million in taxes. Right now, this is the bigger problem of the negotiations between two parties that will meet after the Italian Super Cup final.

AC Milan are pushing to sell the player who only has an impact of € 4 million on the club’s balance sheet.
