Exclusive: AC Milan want Chelsea midfielder on permanent basis

The permanent signing of Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has now become a priority and talks are already underway for the same, Calciomercato exclusively understand.

The Frenchman joined Milan on loan this past summer and struggled a lot in the first few months. His recent performances though, show that he has settled in nicely and is capable of playing for the club on a regular basis.

Calciomercato's Daniele Longo states that Leonardo, Rino Gattuso and Paolo Maldini are convinced by Bakayoko's abilities and talks are already underway to sign him permanently from Chelsea.

Bakayoko's agent Federico Pastorello has been informed of the rossoneri's will to sign the player on a permanent basis and talks about it are about to begin with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.

The player too is keen on continuing to play in Italy on a permanent basis, instead of not knowing where his future in the long term lies. Milan would want to buy him for a price of about 40 million euros.
