Juventus and Liverpool have been informed by Benfica that they are welcome to sign Spanish left full-back Alejandro Grimaldo, born in 1995 but they will have to dig deep into their wallets in order to do so.

Calciomercato can reveal that the reigning Portuguese champions have informed all interested clbs that they will not even consider selling the player for any less than €40 million.

The Valencia youth team product, Grimaldo, joined Benfica from Barcelona B during the 2016 January transfer window for a reported fee of €1,5 million and signed a contract that expires at the end of June 2021. So far this season the Spanish full-back has featured 8 times for the Portuguese side in all competitions not managing to score any goals.
