Exclusive: Bonucci will become Milan captain if he joins

Milan and Juventus are negotiating for Leonardo Bonucci, and it may only take 40 million to sign the 30-year-old, who has already agreed to join the Rossoneri.

Managing director Marco Fassone and sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli have only offered €30 million so far.

Milan had also promised Bonucci that he would become the Rossoneri’s captain, and that he will make €6 million a year, despite rumours that the two sides had agreed to €7m.

The Rossoneri have revolutionised their team completely, adding Franck Kessie, Ricardo Rodriguez, Andre Silva, Hakan Calhanoglu and Andrea Conti, with the objective of immediately competing for the title, or at least for a Champions League spot.

The two sides are still negotiating, but our sources have let us know that the Rossoneri could sign the Italian talisman as early as tomorrow.

There will be no Mattia De Sciglio, either, despite Juve’s interest in the full-back.
