Chelsea are still keen to sign Juventus star Alex Sandro and according to our sources the Premier League giants will do everything that it’s in their power to sign the player in the January transfer window.

Calciomercato.com can confirm that Chelsea made several offers for the Brazilian left-back last summer with Juventus that refused proposals worth over € 70 million. Alex Sandro was offered a € 7 million-a-year deal and reached a principle of agreement with the Premier League giants but Juventus refused to sell their talented defender.

Alex Sandro arrived in Turin in summer 2015 for € 26 million and his market value has skyrocketed during his two-year spell in Turin.

The bianconeri are aware that Alex Sandro is one of the best left-backs in the world and have no intention to sell their star either in January or in the summer.

The Serie A giants have offered the 26-year-old a new € 5 million-a-year deal until 2022 and are sources close to the club have told calciomercato.com that Juve executives hope the Brazilian will sign a contract extension in the coming weeks. Despite Juventus’ ongoing contract talks, however, Chelsea will still make an attempt to sign Alex Sandro in January.
