Exclusive: Miranda fed up with Inter, who prepare a substitute
- Fabrizio Romano. Translated by Nikita Fesyukov
It is not that Miranda is tired, he wants to play more and has communicated this desire to the management after the many exclusions. In essence, Miranda wants to leave, despite the recent renewal, to avoid a free transfer.
There is not yet an important offer beyond the dated surveys of Porto and the hardly feasible dream of Flamengo, who would like to bring him back to Brazil. If, however, a suitable proposal were to emerge, Miranda could really leave already in January.
In that case, Inter would be ready to think about the possibility of a defensive purchase. The priority is Joachim Andersen from Sampdoria, the ideal substitute put in the viewfinder for which there is an open challenge with Juventus and some Premier League teams.
This would be an operation worth 30-35 million euros, too much to invest immediately, but Inter will try to find a comfortable solution with Sampdoria. Ferrero, however, would like to keep the Danish defender until June, which is why surprises are not excluded. Inter are back on the defensive market, waiting for Miranda's situation to be defined.
