EXCLUSIVE: Palermo VP confirms Spurs target Vazquez has agreed to move to Premier League

Franco Vazquez has already announced that he will be leaving Palermo this summer. The Argentina-born offensive midfielder is a target of AC Milan and Tottenham, though Palermo have reportedly rejected an offer of WBA for the 27-year-old offensive midfielder.

Calciomercato.com has exclusively talked to Palermo Vice President Guglielmo Miccichè asking which will be the future of their star.

Mr. Miccichè, have you rejected an offer of € 15 million from West Bromwich Albion?
“Our director of sport Foschi has informed us that there are negotiations ongoing with some English clubs and I think West Bromwich are also in race.”

Rumours have been suggesting that the player would prefer to move to AC Milan. Can you confirm that?
“I can only say that we’ve talked to AC Milan, but negotiations have been put on hold due to their colloquies to sell the club. Vazquez knows that some Premier League clubs want to sign him and he has informed us he agrees to move abroad.”

President Zamparini has slapped € 25 million price-tag on the player. Is the fee negotiable?
“He has decided the best price for the player. We believe that it will be easier for us to sell him abroad because it will be difficult to find Italian suitors willing to meet our requests.”
