EXCLUSIVE: Patrice Evra’s future with Juventus is uncertain

09 November at 17:56
Patrice Evra is among Juventus’ mainstays after having joined the Old Lady as a free agent two years ago. The club’s manager Massimiliano Allegri usually opts for the Frenchman’s experience down the left flank rather than the Bianconeri new signing Alex Sandro, who has joined the Stadium on a € 26 million deal last summer.

According to calciomercato.com’s transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano, Juventus’ are already planning Evra’s contract extension with the club as Giuseppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici should met the player’s entourage at the beginning of December in order to start negotiations. The Turin club should offer Evra a one-year contract extension with a second year extension option.

The 34-year-old is still not sure whether to continue his professional at the Juventus Stadium or not.

Despite his age, the Frenchman would like to join a club in which he can feature as one of the centrepieces for the last two or three seasons of his playing career.

Once that Evra’s decision will be taken, Juventus would be more than happy to have him on-board for the next few seasons.
