Exclusive - the next Kante wanted by Juve, Tottenham and Barça: Paratici's plan revealed

26 November at 12:45
Tanguy Ndombele is a midfielder with enormous tactical intelligence who plays in Lyon. Born in 1996, he has already three appearances with France national team.

The 22-year-old has been compared to Chelsea star Ngolo Kanté and the reasons are evident. Not surprisingly, Juventus have been following him for long time with Fabio Paratici and the scouting team.

Ndombele convinces everyone at the club. He is one of the players on top Juventus’ wish-list.

The situation around this midfielder, however, is complicated because there are so many requests. Tottenham, Manchester City and Barcelona have already enquired about the player’s availability, Calciomercato.com has understood.

Lyon President Jean Michel Aulas, only sells his best talents only for exorbitant amounts, a policy that he has maintained for years. Aulas has refused already refused € 35 million for Ndombélé in the summer and today the price-tag of the Frenchman is around € 45/50 million.

That's why Juventus is observing and waiting, at least for now. Paratici’s strategy is clear: no auctions for any player. Therefore Juventus will try to sign for the midfielder without falling into the trap of Aulas.
