Exclusive: Why Juventus won’t star Man Utd wonderkid

06 October at 15:35
Juventus are being linked with signing Manchester United wonderkid Angel Gomes who is regarded as one of the most promising players in the academy of Manchester United. The 17-year-old has attracted the interest of many top European clubs, especially from the Old Lady but according to our sources Gomes won’t be ‘another Pogba’.

The Frenchman, in fact, completed a free Juventus move in 2012 and Manchester United had to pay € 110 million in summer 2016 to have him back at the Old Trafford.

The two clubs are now on very good terms and Juventus do not want to ruin their relationship with the Premier League giants.

According to our sources, scouts of the Old Lady have told the club to sign the talented and promising midfielder but the club’s board will not make a move to sign him.

Manchester United are also going to offer Gomes his first professional contract to ward off the interest of Juventus and other interested clubs.
