Fabian Ruiz reveals why he joined Napoli from Real Betis
Ruiz has become an important player for Napoli this season and has done well after having come on from the bench. The 22-year-old has made just three appearances and has appeared thrice from the bench, but he has scored twice and both goals came after he was on as a substitute.
Ruiz was recently talking to the official UEFA website about why he joined Napoli and he said that the feel of the city makes him like the club a lot.
He said: " I immediately had a very good impression of Naples: as soon as I landed at the airport people already knew me, they told me I was great, and it was very important to be welcomed so well."
" I like the city, the fans welcome you as if you were part of the same family and - added the Spanish player - for someone like me who comes from abroad was very important."
A product of the Betis youth academy, Ruiz joined from his childhood club after Napoli triggered his release clause of 30 million euros.
