Catalunya Radio reports that multinational company Grifols whose main area of business are pharmaceuticals, are prepared to sponsor the naming rights of Camp Nou to the tune of €400 million for the next 30 years. A rather elevated sum which could intrigue even a club of Barcelona's stature despite the fact that the Catalan giant sdid not even have a sponsor on their shirts a few years back.

According to the report, with this investment the Blaugrana can finally start renovating their old stadium which has been in need of renovation for many years. It remains to be seen how the Blaugrana faithful take this decision who see Camp Nou as a symbol of not just the club but the entire city of Barcelona as a whole.
