Felipe Anderson shines for West Ham: Brazilian media praise former Lazio star

Felipe Anderson left Serie A giants Lazio in the summer to join West Ham United, as part of the Hammers' rebuilding project after a big increase in funding and a disappointing few seasons. The East London side took a gamble on the Brazilian, who had only played in Brazil and Italy up until he moved to England.

Last night, West Ham overturned a 1-0 deficit against in-form Southampton to win 2-1 at St. Mary's; Felipe Anderson scoring both the goals to secure the three points.

Brazilian media had a lot of praise to bestow upon Anderson after yesterday's game, with Lance.com saying "After the advantage of Southampton, begins the private show of Felipe Anderson." Similarly, O'Globo said that Felipe was the "absolute protagonist" of the match.
