Fiorentina Women's player Alia Guagni, awarded as Player of the Year at the Gran Galà del Calcio, has been interviewed La Nazione. "I was very surprised to be one of the three candidates and above all to have won, because it is always difficult for a defender. Moreover, the award refers to the season 2017/18, where we hadn’t a good start so I thought it would be very difficult to win.”
