Gentile: 'Higuain red card did not disappoint me, Milan don't need Ibra'

Former Juventus and Italian national team defender Claudio Gentile has said that Gonzalo Higuain's red card against Juventus in the Serie A did not disappoint him at all.

The Argentine was sent off for the rossoneri against his former club, during Milan's 2-0 loss to Juventus two weeks ago. He joined the club on loan from Juve this past summer in a deal that saw Leonardo Bonucci return to Juve and Mattia Caldara join Milan on a permanent basis.

Gentile was recently talking to Sky Sports about the sending off. He said it wasn't disappointing.

He said: "It did not disappoint me. It was reasonable to expect a few more goals, he lost his mind but then immediately apologized."

Gentile was also asked his opinion about Zlatan Ibrahimovic's possible return to AC Milan in January. He said:Ibra? I would pay to hear vaguely self-centered concepts in the presentation press conference. But Milan should try to turn the page. "
