Free agent XI: The best players available for free this summer

Lot of European stars run out of contract next summer and Calciomercato.com is outlining the best players who are available for nothing at the end of the season.

GOALKEEPER-  Steve Mandanda (Olympique de Marseille). Premier League side Everton have set sights on him  as Tim Howard could leave the Goodison Park next summer. AS Roma have almost signed another very interesting goalkeeper: Intrenacional’s Alisson.

DEFENDERS – The most interesting wingbacks are Gregory van der Wiel (PSG), Martin Caceres (Juventus) and Jon Flanagan (Liverpool). The Holland International playing at the Parc des Prances has been targeted by Inter as well as Roman Neustädter, a 28-year-old central defender playing for Shalke 04 and Caner Erkin, currently under contract with Fenerbache. Milan and Lazio are keeping tabs on Nicolas N’Koulou, while Liverpool have already found economic agreement to bring Shalke 04’s Matip at Anfield Road next season.

CENTRAL MIDFIELDERS – Two youngsters are probably the most interesting players available in this position, we’re talking about Tom Carroll and Tonny Vilhena. The first one is currently under contract with Tottenham. The second one is a Feyenoord’s star. The best Serie A teams have set sights on him. Roma, Juventus, Milan and Sampdoria are rumored to be pondering a contract offer for the 21-year-old, but Bayern Munich and Leicester are interested too.

OFFENSIVE MIDFIELDERS – Sofiane Feghouli (Valencia), Ben Arfa (Nice), Andrijza Vivkovic (Partizan Belgrade). The Algeria International has offers from Inter, Roma, Juve and Man Utd. Former Newcastle man Ben Arfa is chased by AC Milan and PSG as the Ligue 1 side are still looking for a replacement of Ezequiel Lavezzi, who moved to China in February, when the European transfer window was already closed. Real Madrid wanted to sign Partizan Belgrade’s youngster Andrijza Vivkovic last January, a very interesting player chased by Inter and Villareal too. The Nerazzurri, however, have already an economic agreement for Sevilla star Ever Banega.

STRIKER – Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Who else? Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi wants him so much he’s ready to offer the Swedish star a super-salary to convince him joining the Rossoneri.

LINE UP -  Mandanda; Van Der Wiel, N’Koulou, Neustädter, Erkin; Carroll, Vilhena; Feghouli, Ben Arfa, Zivkovic; Ibrahimovic.
