From England: Inter want Valencia in January; Man Utd's stance

So far, Sime Vrsaljko isn't providing the guarantees that Inter had first expected, failing to perform with continuity due to multiple injury struggles. Therefore, the Nerazzurri management has started to look at other profiles for the summer, with Antonio Valencia being one of those.

Vrsaljko arrived on loan for €6.5m with an option to buy set at €17.5m last summer, and as of late the probability of Inter redeeming the player has decreased. In fact, the Marotta-Ausilio duo is probing the market in search of alternatives ahead of next season.

Man Utd's Antonio Valencia is one of the players they've looked at, as his contract with the Red Devils expires this summer. The fullback is currently evaluating his options, but has no intention of renewing with Solkjaer's side.

According to the Mirror, the agents of Valencia have already been in contact with Inter. In fact, the Nerazzurri would like to bring in the 33-year-old already in January, though Man Utd have said 'no' to this.
