From Pogba to Cavani and Benatia: all the latest news on Juventus transfer strategies

While Juventus’ players are battling to win their fifth Scudetto in a row, Giuseppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici are working in the control room to lay out plans for the Old Lady’s future.

At the moment, they are only focusing on those players who could leave at the end of the season, namely Alvaro Morata, Martin Caceres, Juan Cuadrado and Neto, but soon they will also start negotiations to bring new face to the J Stadium.

No secret Massimiliano Allegri has asked one between Edinson Cavani or Karim Benzema. At this stage, signing the Frenchman sounds a bit more complicated than the PSG wantaway. As we previously reported, Juventus have already met Cavani’s agent, registering the player’s interest in joining the J Stadium next summer.

As CM.com’s Nicola Balice points out Juventus’ representatives understood Cavani would prefer the Serie A giants over Chelsea during the Blues’ Champions League showdown against PSG last month.
At the end of the season, Marotta and Paratici will enter transfer talks with the Ligue1 defending champions, though they’ll need at least € 45 million to convince PSG owner Nasser Al Khelaifi to sell the Uruguay International.

Michy Batshuayi has also attracted the interest of the Bianconeri, but Juventus would knock Olympique de Marseille’s door only if Mario Mandzukic or Simone Zaza will ask to leave the club.

If the Morocco International will prove to be a reliable player in terms of fitness, he will complete a move to the J Stadium at the beginning of the summer window. Hector Moreno’s price-tag (€ 15 million) is too expensive and the Old Lady is no more in race to sign the PSV defender.

As far as Paul Pogba is concerned, the Serie A giants don’t want to lose him, nor the player has expressed his preference for any other club. Juventus will only listen to offers exceeding € 100 million. Andre Gomes is the number one target to strengthen the midfield, though his agent Jorge Mendes would prefer him to join Manchester United.
