Gareth Bale 'open' to Man United switch

Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale admitted that he is open to a switch back to Premier League club Manchester United. According to reports in Spain via the Daily Express, the Welshmen is only keen on a transfer to Old Trafford where he would work with ex-Madrid boss Jose Mourinho.

The Red Devils have always had an eye out the 27-year-old and now, following a mixed season in La Liga where he picked up a few knocks, they have been handed a post in their hunt for the former-Spurs player.

It is said that Bale has grown tired of being in the shadow of Portuguese international star Cristiano Ronaldo now is seeking a move away from the La Lga giants, but with Man United as the only destination he would choose.

The report also states that rising star and Real Madrid player 21-year-old Marco Assensio, who impressed many during the under-21 European Championships, is another threat of Bale’s position and so the Wales international star is serious considering Old Trafford as an option.
