Fiorentina are about to sign Roma midfielder Gerson. Sources have told Calciomercato.com that La Viola are finalizing negotiations with the Giallorossi. Fiorentina were interested in Chelsea’s Mario Pasalic but opted to sign the Brazilian midfielder instead when talks with the Blues collapsed.

Gerson is now ready to join Fiorentina on loan with option to buy. The deal will be finalized in the coming hours.
