Higuain ban appeal: AC Milan striker in Rome, hearing lasts just 15 minutes

AC Milan have appealed against the decision to ban Gonzalo Higuain for two games. The Argentinean was sent off in the last Serie A game played against Juventus and was suspended for two matches. The Rossoneri, however, hope the Federal Court of appeal will halve the ban allowing Higuain to return to action after a ban of just one game.

The hearing took place in Rome today and it only lasted 15 minutes. Higuain attended it. Speaking to media after the hearing, Higuain released just a few words: “Let’s see how it goes”, the Argentinean said.

The verdict is expected to be revealed around 5 pm.
