Higuain: 'I am happy for the goal. I want to thank everyone'

A liberating goal. Gonzalo Higuain has shaken off a lot of pressure and weight from himself yesterday, scoring for the first time in two months against SPAL. The Argentinian striker expressed his joy about the ended crisis in an Instagram post.

"I am happy to return to scoring. I want to thank everyone who has been close to me. Thanks to my family, friends, teammates, the technical staff, the club and fans who have been by my side. I wish a pleasant holiday season to everyone," he said.
