Chelsea are still interested in signing Juventus loanee star Gonzalo Higuain and Calciomercato.com can exclusively reveal that the Old Lady has rejected a swap deal offer made by the Blues.

The agent of Morata, Juanma Lopez, has offered the Spaniard to Juventus in exchange for the Argentinean striker who is struggling to impress at AC Milan.

Higuain wants Chelsea move and Sarri is pushing to make the deal happen. Juventus, however, only want to sell Higuain for a cash offer and not including any player in a swap deal.

The Blues are not willing to spend more than € 50 million for a player who is over 30 and Juventus don’t want a capital loss. They need to sell Higuain for at least € 54 million, the fee reached by AC Milan last summer.

The Rossoneri have signed the Argentinean on a € 18 million loan deal. The Serie A giants have an option to make the player’s move permanent set to € 36 million.
