Inter: Chelsea starlet wanted on loan, Man Utd prepare improved Perisic bid

Inter will be very busy with transfer negotiations this summer. Reports in Italy claim Angel Di Maria is the Serie A giants’ summer transfer priority but new nerazzurri boss Luciano Spalletti wants to strengthen his defensive pack as well.

The signing of Milan Skriniar will be announced in the coming days but the Italian want one more reinforcement at the back. According to Sky Sport, Inter have set their sights on Chelsea starlet Andreas Christensen, 21, who spent the last two seasons on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach.

The Serie A giants are interested in signing the rock-solid centre-back and they would be open to sign him on loan, according to the report.

Chelsea, however, are not the only Premier League club involved in negotiations with Inter. Manchester United are long time admirers of Ivan Perisic and the nerazzurri are still open to sell him despite their financial situation has now been solved.

According to Sky Sport, Inter’s asking price is € 55 million. The Serie A giants have rejected the Red Devils’ opening € 40 million bid but José Mourinho is reportedly ready to make an improved bid.
Sky believe Manchester United’s offer will be higher than € 40 million but would still not match Inter’s asking price. The two clubs, however, could meet halfway and reach an agreement in the coming weeks.
