Inter continues to keep tabs on River Plate’s Exequiel Palacios.

The Argentine midfielder, who has been under observation for some time, in the last few days has offered himself to the Nerazzurri again. However, according to Tuttosport, CEO Beppe Marotta has given priority to a top-level coup, such as Barella, and merely considers the Argentine as a backup.

Barella was heavily linked with Chelsea in January however the London club have been placed under a transfer embargo so the destination of the Italian is now less clear.
