Report: Godin agrees to join the nerazzurri, the details

Diego Godin's Atletico Madrid future is in heavy doubt as Inter Milan have strong interest in the star defender. His name has been talked about a lot of late as Inter seem to be getting closer.

According to Sky Sport (via Calciomercato.com), it seems like Godin will sign a two year deal with the nerazzurri worth 6 million euros per season. Godin would also potentially have an option on a third season as a deal seems to be inching closer. Let's not forget that Godin's current Atletico Madrid contract is set to expire in June 2019 as he is free the join the nerazzurri as a free-agent. Once everything is in place, the defender will be free to undergo his medicals with Inter Milan. Even so, reports in Spain are saying that a deal isn't in place just yet so time will tell...
