Atlanta United have emerged as an unlikely force in Major League Soccer in their inaugural season. The expansion club has played their way into the third position of the standings and appears poised for a deep playoff run. Now, it seems that Inter Milan and Arsenal are closely monitoring the engine of their high powered attack, Miguel Almiron.

The Paraguayan international had been on Inter's radar last year before joining Atlanta United. Playing with CA Lanus of the Argentinian league, Almiron's heady work as their # 10 earned him $ 13 million move to the United States. A source tells Calcio Mercato he could be worth as much as €15-20 million to Inter.

Now, as he partners with former Torino FC striker Josef Martinez, who has scored 18 goals in 18 matches, Inter is set to renew their attempts to bring the attacking midfielder to the San Siro. Under the tutelage of former Barcelona manager Tata Martino, Almiron is ready to explode on the international stage, and Inter want to be the beneficiaries.
