Inter: Juve and AC Milan target emerges as alternative to Martial

New Inter boss Luciano Spalletti did not hide his frustration yesterday after Inter’s 2-1 defeat at hands of second-division club Nurnberg. The Italian urges the club to make new signings and the nerazzurri have reportedly set sights on a couple of attacking winger who could strengthen the Serie A giants.

No secret Anthony Martial has emerged as a potential transfer target of Inter. The French winger could be included in a player-swap deal involving Ivan Perisic but then Man United would need Inter to add a cash offer in order to seal the former Monaco star.

That’s why the nerazzurri are going to challenge Juve and Milan for the signing of Keita Balde. The Senegalese winger will see his contract expire in June 2018 and he is not willing to put pen to paper on a contract extension.

The product of Barcelona academy is reported to have already reached an agreement with Juve but the Serie A champions want to sign the player on the cheap and Lazio have yet to agree the player’s price-tag with Juve.

As for AC Milan, they have a principle of agreement with Lazio but the player is not interested in joining the rossoneri, at least for the moment.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Inter representatives will meet Lazio president Claudio Lotito next week.
