Everton are in talks with several top Serie A clubs as the Toffees are looking to strengthen their squad for the 2017/18 campaign. As we’ve already reported AC Milan stars Carlos Bacca, M’Baye Niang and Gianluca Lapadula are being shortlisted by the Premier League side. Juventus’ Neto and Mario Lemina are also transfer targets of Everton and La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Interdipendenza.net) claims Inter’s Marcelo Brozovic is also on Everton’s sights.

The Croatian midfielder had previously been linked with a move to Manchester United but there are no fresh reports concerning the Red Devils’ interest in the former Dynamo Zagreb man.

The Italian sport paper believes Inter have already informed Everton about Marcelo Brozovic’s price-tag. Although the Croat has a € 50 million release clause included in his contract with Inter, the nerazzurri are open to sell him for a transfer fee between € 20 and € 25 million.
