Inter risk losing 50 million as Champions League qualification goes to final day

Following Inter’s 4 – 1 defeat to Napoli the Milanese club requires a win at home, to an Empoli side that has won the last 3, to secure the Champions League.
 
A game that is worth so much, for both clubs, (Empoli need to win to avoid relegation) and could have a huge impact on Inter transfer market.
 
If Inter fails to qualify for the Champions League they will miss out on 50 million euros that cannot be included in the budget in case of failure. 50 million which, according to Tuttosport, will weigh down on the club's transfer market moves. Inter have been linked with names such as Barella, Chiesa and Lukaku as soon to be new coach Antonio Conte looks to model the side in his image.
 
The daily paper finishes by stating that in the event of both scenarios, qualification or flop, the two parallel projects ready to go.
