Inter say yes, Gabigol yet to agree terms with Flamengo

Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan’s highly-rated striker Gabriel Barbosa’s future is once again looking far from certain.

The 23-year-old is currently with the Brazilian club Flamengo on a season-long loan where he has shown his talent with 19 goals in as many league matches.

It was that performance which made Flamengo decide to sign the striker permanently and after numerous efforts, they’ve managed to agree a fee of €18 million with the Milan-based club with a 20 to 25 % future sale profit promised to the parent club as well.

However, as per Gazzetta dello Sport cited by Calciomercato.com, the deal is far from concluded as Gabigol is yet to agree personal with Flamengo.

The report stated that the main reason is that after showing his effectiveness in front of the goal, the player—who currently earns €3 million per season—wants his salary to be increased to €5 million.
