Inter-Wanda dispute: Icardi can leave even after the contract renewal

The case of Mauro Icardi's renewal at Inter has been the subject of many discussions in the last months. If the relationship between the Nerazzurri captain and the club and the fans is good, the same cannot be said about his wife/agent. The last statements on the renewal of the contract and on a potential exchange with Juventus (which would have brought Higuain to Inter) was not appreciated by Marotta and Ausilio, who could now review the plans for the future.

However, not as far as the renewal is concerned. Inter's management has made it clear that in January, during the break, there will be a new meeting to find the agreement and extend Icardi's contract until 2023 with an increased salary. But it is not sure what will happen next.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Inter management is fed up with Wanda Nara's statements and do not appreciate the media show surrounding the player. This can crack the relationship in the medium to long-term, making the scenario of a sale of the player after the contract renewal possible.
