Inter warned: Modric can leave in the summer

Spanish giants Real Madrid are reportedly willing to sell Luka Modric next summer and Inter would pounce on him the way they wanted to this past summer. The Croatian was close to a move to Inter this past summer, but the Los Blancos refused to let him leave following the departures of Cristiano Ronaldo and Florentino Perez.

Inter really wanted him and had held talks with the Croatian too in an attempt to bring him to the San Siro.

Mundo Deportivo, though, state that Real could be willing to part ways with Modric in the same way that they sold Ronaldo this past summer. The midfielder is said to be keen on an exit from the Los Blancos with the club that is also not interested in offering him a new deal.

Real feel that it’s time to part ways with the club because he’s too old and selling him would make sure that they get the most that they can out of him. If they let him stay for long, they will not be able to take too much from a possible sale. Inter are all ears
