Ivanovic to Roma as part of Nainggolan - Chelsea deal?
The 27-year-old is one of the driving forces behind Roma's midfield, a complete player who has en eye for goal and is a tough, dynamic player in the middle.
News is emerging now that Chelsea are going to make an offer this summer, especially since incoming manager Antonio Conte is a big fan of the Belgian international, having tried to sign him when he was still Juventus' coach.
The Corriere della Sera reports that the Pensioners may try to send Branislav Ivanovic the other way. Roma's director of sport, Walter Sabatini, was in London this weekend, ostensibly to talk about Nainggolan. In truth, the two sides will have discussed the Serbian, too, whose contract runs out in 2017.
Valued at €11 million, the 32-year-old former Serbia international started the season badly, but has rallied of late, scoring a winner against Southampton and totalling 28 EPL appearances, with 2 goals.
