    FOCUS: Juve back for Tielemans as Gundogan joins City

    Yesterday, Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel said that he would be surprised if Ilkay Gundogan wouldn’t stay. On the contrary, the 25-year-old has already informed the club that he will leave at the end of the contrary. The Germany international has been a target for Juventus for a long time, but he won’t play in Italy during the next season. During the last transfer window, the bianconeri have made several attempts to convince the 25-year-old, but the latter has made another choice: as reported by the German press, in the last days there has been a meeting between Pep Guardiola, Manchester City Sporting Director and Gundogan’s uncle: the player will finally join the Citizens.
     
    On the other hand, the Serie A defending champions have a plan B: now, their main option is Anderlecht 19-year-old Youri Tielemans. The Piedmont’s club scouts have been observing the Belgian midfielder for a long time, and had a great impression. The young player has four more years on his contract with his current club, that would like to keep him for some more years. Also the player –who is also a target for Barcelona, Tottenham, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid- would like to stay, so that Juve will have to find some good reasons to convince him to join them.
